Whenever prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) became sick, he would recite Al-Mu’awwidhatain (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas) and then blow his breath over his body. The Surah also teaches that one should seek refuge in Allah from the mischief of mankind and Jinn. It begins with the phrase “Qul a’udhu bi Rabbi n-Nas,” which translates to “Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of Mankind.” This Surah is believed to provide protection against the negative influences of mankind, including envy, malice, and evil intentions. Importance and Benefits of Surah Al-Ikhlas It begins with the phrase “Qul huwallahu ahad,” which translates to “Say: He is Allah, the One.” This Surah is believed to provide spiritual protection, as it teaches the oneness of Allah and the importance of sincerity in one’s beliefs and actions. Surah Al-Ikhlas, also known as the “Chapter of Sincerity,” is the 112th chapter of the Quran and it consists of 4 verses. When he came to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and said: “O Messenger of Allah, tell me something that I may say when I go to my bed.” So Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “Recite: Say: ‘O you disbelievers Suran Al-Kafirun’ for verily it is a refusal of Shirk.” Reference: Jami at-Tirmidhi 3403 2nd Qul Surah Al-Ikhlas With Transliteration It narrated by Farwah bin Nawfal (RA) that: Importance and Benefits of Surah Al-Kafirun It begins with the phrase “Qul yaa ayyuhal kafirun,” which translates to “Say: O you disbelievers!” This Surah is believed to provide protection against disbelief and the negative effects of disbelief, including arrogance and ignorance. Surah Al-Kafirun, also known as the “Chapter of the Disbelievers,” is the 109th chapter of the Quran and it consists of 6 verses.
